About the Role

Provide Insurance Product & Service Information
- Explain insurance options and coverage features in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
- Stay current on agency offerings and product updates to support proper recommendations.

Assist Customers with Policies
- Help customers with policy applications, renewals, and policy changes.
- Support service requests by coordinating with the appropriate team members and departments.

Handle Customer Inquiries & Follow Through
- Respond to inbound questions by phone, email, and in person when applicable.
- Provide timely updates to customers and complete follow-up tasks efficiently.

Proactively Market Relevant Products
- Identify opportunities to offer appropriate products and services based on customer needs.
- Promote agency products professionally while ensuring customer understanding and transparency.

Maintain Accurate Records
- Document customer interactions, policy activity, and next steps according to agency procedures.
- Maintain organized files to support smooth service and compliance standards.

Support a Positive Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer interaction is handled with professionalism, urgency, and care.
- Work collaboratively with team members to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
- Ability to learn agency systems and insurance processes.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing sales role.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and customer service workflows.
- This position includes an hourly base wage plus commission/bonus opportunities based on performance metrics (e.g., proactive customer outreach, policy/service conversions, and goal achievement—per agency plan).
- Insurance licensing requirements may apply. Training and support will be provided as needed based on licensing status.
